Gbenga Babatunde joined ASL Contractors in March 2023, bringing with him a profound depth of knowledge and experience in accounting and auditing. His academic journey is as impressive as his career trajectory. He earned a Higher National Diploma (HND) from Yaba College of Technology, followed by a BA (Hons) from the University of Sunderland, UK, both specializing in Accounting and Finance. Furthering his expertise, he completed an MBA with the same focus at the University of South Wales. Gbenga’s remarkable career spans over 21 years, featuring pivotal roles in significant organizations including Natcom Development and Investment Limited, Friesland WAMCO NG PLC, and 9mobile, where he excelled as an Internal Auditor.

Gbenga’s professional acumen is further elevated by his status as a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from the USA, and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). His proficiency in English enables clear and effective communication in various business environments. Beyond the realms of finance and auditing, Gbenga finds joy and relaxation in playing table tennis, an interest that complements his professional life by reflecting his dedication, focus, and strategic thinking. His extensive experience, coupled with a diverse skill set, makes him a cornerstone in financial management and strategic planning at ASL Contractors.
